photography revisited

Photography revisited, 2012
Photography revisited, originally titled “You Are…” is a series of fly posted life-size portraits that allow the viewer to insert themselves into the piece so they may become the subject matter; in this instance my friends and family. Knowing the reflection well, (themselves) will allow them to skip the focus and look at the surrounding image. Always paying attention to the frame, in this instance the body and the work that was attributed to it.
Using fractured mirrors in the most recognizable and obvious areas, representing broken dreams of what could have been, we could have done or a reality check on what and who we are.
A mirror is a personal confessional, it rarely lies.
